Project Impact Information: 

We walked on the trail on Friday and collected a lot of trash! The students really made a huge impact this year.

Monday, May 21, Rocket Launch- begins at 1:00in the fields behind the school

 

Wednesday, May 23- Trip to Linden Farms- We will leave at 9am and be back by 1pm

Please bring a sack lunch!

Thursday, May 24- Awards Day 8:30 am

– Last day of school- dismissal – 1pm

Reading/Lang. Arts:

  • I will read one of my favorite books aloud to them, Number the Stars, and we will complete activities in class with the book
  • Please continue to read on your own! The more you read, the more you know!

Math: 

  • We will continue to review all of our skills from this year.
  • We will complete our last math muscle and math bingo this week!

 

  • Science: 
    • Rocket launch is at 1:00 on Monday, May, 21 in the fields.

    Social Studies: 

    • We will be discussing World War II.

I’m so proud of everyone and our class. We have grown so much this year! I hope everyone has enjoyed it as much as I have!

Project Impact Information: 

Relay Recess was a huge success. We raised over $1,000! Thank you for all who donated to help find a cure for cancer!

Tuesday, May 15- Rocket Launch- begins at 12:30 in the fields behind the school

Wednesday and Thursday, May 16 & 17- Field Day

Friday, May 18- Lip Sync

Wednesday, May 23- Trip to Linden Farms

Thursday, May 24- Awards Day- Last day of school- dismissal – 1pm

    • We are going to start building our rockets. These rockets won’t be launched until late in May. This will be a student led activity and it’s up to the students to work hard and experiment with their rocket to make it the best it can be. There will be a lot of trial and error throughout this time. I will encourage the students to do their best.
    • Our rocket launch will be Tuesday, May 15 at 12:30!

    Social Studies: 

    • We will be discussing World War II.
